The one with Afrae and procrastination

17 September 2017

So basically I’m a huge procrastinator, I always… always leave things that needs to be done until the very last minute, and I do this with E-V-E-R-Y-thing. If I have an exam on Monday, I will literally start studying that morning at 1 am, and I keep asking myself: why? WHYYYY?! I had the entire weekend to study! I should be sleeping right now, and I end up going to my exam looking like shit because I didn’t have time to run a brush through my hair.

And if I have to be somewhere at 5 pm, you’ll find me in my bed at 4 something googling Michael Scott’s hair! I got curious, in the first season, his hair was really thinning, I thought the guy was going bold, but then he didn’t, it’s like his hair grew back. So I was just trying to figure out if it is his real hair or not! And apparently, he had a hair transplant and it looks great! Now why do I care about Steve Carell’s damn hair at 4 something in the afternoon? No idea…
You see what I’m trying to say? It’s like I’m doing it on purpose!

Well, to be honest, I shouldn’t be too hard on myself. Even though I’m the queen of procrastinators, I managed to get 2 masters degrees, watched and re-watched the big bang theory, modern family, friends and the office when Michael Scott was still the manager like a 1000 times. So I cannot say I did nothing! Right?

But I keep thinking, if I didn’t lose all this time, if I was being productive, or more focused on my studies, probably I would have achieved more. Not probably, for sure! Hmm it’s kinda depressing, thinking about it that way, so let’s not! Let’s make a change, now, or tomorrow, or next Monday, everything is possible if you have the will to commit to it! Says the girl who took a 10 min break from MONK’s marathon to finish this post, even though this is my third time watching it!
Why do I like re-watching stuff? I don’t get it! Okay, let’s leave this for another post.

Now you may ask yourself what is the purpose of this post, did I overcome it? Am I going to give some advice, some wisdom I collected throughout my years of being a full time procrastinator? Nop! I thought I can share this for all of my procrastinators out there, you’re not alone kids! YOU ARE NOT!

as always, thank you for reading and see you next week!

The one where Afrae starts using an oil!

5 September 2017

So the other day, I went to my local Para pharmacy to repurchase my everyday moisturizer because it seems like I need a tube every two to three weeks! That’s how dry my skin is! Anyway, this shimmering goodness caught my eye, and I made an impulse purchase, which, to be honest, sounds a lot like me, except this time it wasn’t a regret!

I’ve never tried oils before, I always stick to lotions and moisturizers whether it is for my hair or my body…  and since I got a little bit of a tan that I’m so proud of this summer, I wanted something to show it off even more, and this little shimmery thingy was just the perfect way to do it.
NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Or: A multi-purpose dry oil, so it works for your face, body and hair. And it’s basically a mixture of 6 precious botanical oils that nourishes, softens and illuminates your skin. Goodness! Don’t we all need that!
So whenever I have my shoulders out or a little bit of décolletage going on, I always use this little guy. I also tried mixing it with my foundation, and guess what? Works like magic!
If you’re in the market for a dry oil, or maybe you’re looking for a touch of shimmer, very settle shimmer, I totally recommend this one.
