The one with the perfect nude

Let’s talk about this amazing discovery of mine, basically I found the perfect nude combo to suit my pale skin: Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Penelope pink (here) and MAC lipstick in Patisserie (here).

The Charlotte Tilbury one on its own washes me out, it literally blends my lips into my skin, and the MAC one is more on the browny side, so it’s not really a nude for me.

But when I put them together, on top of Charlotte Tilbury's lip linear in Pillow Talk (here), they are just WOW. But I’m pretty sure that the two of them are beautiful on their own for a different skin tone.

And it helps that they are so close when it comes to texture, both very creamy and smooth, although I must say that Pillow Talk is so much creamier, it’s like butter.

Okay confession time, today was a very windy day and it was raining too. So, this morning, I stepped outside in the terrace to take a couple of selfies for this post, okay not a couple, a few.. a lot! and you know the struggle of long hair and creamy lipstick on a windy day.

Long story short: i have lipstick on my upper lip, on my cheek and I don’t know how to edit these stuff away just yet, so please don’t mind it.. It happens.. No big deal.. Right? Aaaand also don’t mind my huge pimple friend who decided to show up, unannounced! I couldn’t say no, could I? That’s why I cropped the hell out of my poor forehead (wink wink).

Anyway, I hope this was helpful for some of you who are still struggling to find the perfect nude.
